This Saturday, July 19, St. Thomas members and friends will again don their yellow vests and work gloves and pick up their trash bags. It’s time to clean Parker Road. Our heavenly Father, the Creator of all, has entrusted us with the stewardship of this good earth. If someone trashes your house, do you wait for them to come by again and have them clean it up? No, you roll up your sleeves right away and restore it yourself. The people who throw trash from their cars aren’t coming back to clean up after themselves. Yet is our road, too. We’ll be out to do our part, gathering at 9 a.m. on Saturday, breaking into groups and each taking a mile section. By state law, participants must be 18 or older.
